Although I've been a Fin Fang Foom fan for a while, I still haven't met the guys, and didn't make the connection that the benefit for Mike Triplett was actually for Mike Triplett, the killer guitar player and master of the loop pedal in Fin Fang Foom. Just goes to show that I have a lot of catching up to do in the Chapel Hill Scene...Cheers to No Tomorrow is 2/3rds of Fin Fang Foom - this time with no guitar and with Eddie and Mike trading off drums, keyboard and singing duties. Their sound will be familiar to FFF fans, moody piano-based rock with a tinge of post-rock.
