The Thermals

Never was there a more apt band name. The Thermals are quite, er... explosive. Maybe they don't jump around stage too much (althought there was much 'bopping' by bass player Kathy, which I hope I caught a bit of) but the vocal delivery and rhythms are pretty explosive. I really really dug these guys, I'm glad I stuck around. Apparently Sub Pop thinks they're cool too, since that's who's been puttin' out their records, which you can buy at Sub Pop, and you can also check out The Thermals website. As I write this, I've got "No Culture Icons" stuck in my head, off their last album...
